Family Owned and Operated Since 1932
The history of McMullen Oil spans over 85 years and was founded by D. Guy McMullen in 1932. D. Guy McMullen, along with his wife and 4 children worked side by side in the business. Paul McMullen joined his father D. Guy in 1957 and worked the next 32 years learning every facet of the operation. He was elected President in 1985, serving that position until he purchased the company from his father in 1989, which established McMullen Oil Company Inc.
The Legacy Continues
The business continues to be a family operation today, with Paul continuing as President, his wife Janet, Secretary/ Treasurer, and his 2 sons and their wives serving as Directors on the Board. Brett McMullen, joined his father in the company in 1986 after graduating from the University of Tampa. With over 32 years of experience, Brett is the Light Product Operations Director. Brett specializes in gasoline and diesel sales, delivery, and product grade information. Paul Jr. joined his father in the business in 1987 after graduating Clearwater High School. Paul Jr. has over 30 years of experience and specialized training in the application of and equipment specification in lubricant needs. He is the Lubricant Operations Director. Karen McMullen joined her husband in the company in 1992. Karen has over 40 years of accounting experience and 2 years of experience within the company in the accounting department. Karen is our Financial Director, she specializes in accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing for the business. Tanya McMullen joined her husband in the business in 1993. With over 20 years at the company, she specializes in the Petroleum related taxes, Accounting/ Bookkeeping, and the Specialized Petroleum Software. Tanya currently holds the title of Business Operations Director
